Fix Windows Wireless Service is not running on this computer in Windows 10. August 9, 2018 By karan. At times, users are unable to access the Internet and get the. Windows wireless service is not running on this computer. When the Windows network diagnostics dialogue box appears I click on 'Start Windows Wireless Service' and then am told that Windows cannot fix the problem and instructs me to contact my network admin or ISP. I have tried several fixes from different forums and nothing has worked. Starting Windows 10 WLAN AutoConfig service is pretty similar to how you do it in Windows 8 or 8.1. Actually this is built-in wireless utility in Windows 10 that allows you to configure, discover, connect and disconnect your wireless adapter from wireless network without additional 3rd party wireless utility. After fairly large update today I keep losing my wifi connection (not tried wired as yet) but then when I right click on wifi logo in tray and troubleshoot is says 'The windows wireless service is not running on this computer'.

I'michael not sure if this is credited to an up-date since I possess them fixed to automated, but for about a week today my web keeps heading off and I get the error 'The Home windows Wireless Program is usually not running on this computer' Then I click on 'Attempt these fixes as an boss and it't fixed. I've attempted resetting my program, my wireless service is fixed to automatic, I've gone my network adapter's website and down loaded the most recent drivers and nothing is working. I'meters supposing this is from the update on December 7tl, but why isn'testosterone levels right now there a fix however????

Hi, I've been having the exact same problem since I up to date my computer last night, 12/12/15. For me, I've been getting randomly shut off from my network and when I appeared at the link area it showed that I have got a wired link when I possess nothing connected, and when I float over it, it shows I am linked to nothing. If I wait around about 30 seconds, it'll go back again to the shut off wireless image. Which enables me to troubleshoot the connectivity which corrects it for a couple minutes.

I hope I can discover a method to repair this permanently for it will be irritating, and incredibly troublesome.My computer systems specs are:Windows 10Intel core i5 6600kGeforce GTX 970MSI z170i motherboard16gb of DDR4 ramThe problem seems to be coming from Windows itself, however the Motherboard is where my WIFI sticks are physically connected, and yes, it's plugged in entirely, etc.It happened 3 periods while I has been composing this.EDIT.I think I have got found a repair. As Jason Meters did I taken out the upgrade and everything has been running good again.

When I searched through all my improvements (KB3122947) had been not detailed on my pc. I looked around and I found this and therefore far so good. Someone mentioned the up-date uninstalled/got destroyed the wireless adaptor driver. I suppose you could downIoad and reinstall thé drivers yourself but there will be a free of charge program called Driver skill that will check all of your installed drivers for error.
